Martha was born about 1805 in Columbia Co. GA. Martha's father was George Jones and her mother was Lydia Hobson. Her maternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. She had three brothers and two sisters, named George Jr., William, Nathan, Elizabeth and Lydia. She is the youngest of the six children.General Notes
