John+ Johnston 
John+ was born about 1565 in Scotland. John+'s father was George+ Johnston and his mother was Christian+ Forbes. His paternal grandparents were William+ Johnston and Margaret+ Hay; his maternal grandparents were William+ Forbes and Elizabeth+ Keith. He had two brothers and a sister, named Arthur+, William+ and Margaret+. He was the oldest of the four children. He died on February 14th, 1614 in Monkegy Kirk.General Notes
