Richard II Du was born about 1157 in Lincolnshire, England. Richard II Du's father was Guillaume II Du+ Hommet and his mother was Luce De+ Brus. His paternal grandfather was Richard I Du+ Hommet and his paternal grandmother is Agnes De+ Say; his maternal grandfather was Robert II De+ Brus and his maternal grandmother is Agnes+ Paynel. He had a brother and two sisters, named Enguerrand II Du, Agathe Du+ and Agnes Du+. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in 1200.General Notes
