His paternal grandfather is Osmeline+ Avenell. He had a brother named Picot De+. He was the older of the two children. He died after 1098.General Notes
According to Reynaud de Paysac William is "mentioned before 1098 in ancient charters of Sai near Argenten in Normandy."
