Hosea Holcombe 
Hosea was born in 1755 in Granville, NC. Hosea's father was John Holcombe and his mother is Eleanor X. His paternal grandfather was Richard Holcombe. He had six brothers and a sister, named Zachariah H., Joel, Isaac, Harmon, Jeremiah, John and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 34 in 1789.General Notes
