Thorrissey was born about 1824. Thorrissey's father is Joseph Hobson and her mother is Nancy X. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Hobson and Judy Murphy. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry Newton, Francis Marion, Elijah, Huldah and Jane. She died about 1850 in Hale Co., AL.General Notes
