Jesse was born on October 1st, 1813 in Knox Co., TN. Jesse's father was George Hobson and his mother was Rebecca Marshall. His paternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Joshua, George, William, Sarah, Ann, Rebecca and Margaret. He is the fifth youngest of the ten children.General Notes
