Zachariah was born on December 2nd, 1779 in Guilford, NC. Zachariah's father is Joseph Hiatt and his mother is Keziah Mills. His paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; his maternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had two sisters named Martha and Sarah. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 81 on December 31st, 1860 in Randolph Co., IN.General Notes
