Friedrich II Von was born on August 14th, 1720 in Kassel. Friedrich II Von's father was Wilhelm VIII Von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Dorothea Wilhelmina Von Sachsen. His paternal grandparents were Karl Von Hessen-Kassel and Marie Amalie Von Kurland; his maternal grandfather is Moritz Wilhelm Von Sachsen and his maternal grandmother was Maria Amalia Von Hohenzollern. He was an only child. He died at the age of 65 on October 30th, 1785.General Notes
