William De La+ was born about 1374 in Erroll, Perthshire, England. William De La+'s father was Thomas De La+ Hay and his mother is Elizabeth+ Stewart. His paternal grandfather was David De La+ Hay and his paternal grandmother is Margaret+ Keith; his maternal grandparents were Robert II+ Stewart and Elizabeth+ Mure. He had two sisters named Alicia De La+ and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in 1436 in Turriff.General Notes
