William Hay 
William was born about 1597. William's father was Francis Hay and his mother was Elizabeth Douglas. His paternal grandfather is Andrew Hay and his paternal grandmother was Jean Hay; his maternal grandfather was William Douglas and his maternal grandmother is Agnes Leslie. He had two sisters named Jean and Mary. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died on December 7th, 1636.General Notes
