John Hay 
John was born about 1720. John's father was William Hay and his mother was Margaret Hay. His paternal grandparents were John Hay and Mary Maitland; his maternal grandfather was John Hay and his maternal grandmother is Jean Foulis. He was an only child. He died on December 10th, 1765.General Notes
