James Hamilton 
James was born on August 24th, 1838 in Brighton, Sussex, England. James' father was James Hamilton and his mother was Louisa Jane Russell. His paternal grandparents were James Hamilton and Harriet Douglas; his maternal grandparents were John Russell and Georgiana Gordon. He had five sisters named Harriet Georgiana, Beatrix Frances, Louisa Jane, Albertha Frances and Maud Evelyn. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on January 3rd, 1913.General Notes
