Florestan I was born on October 10th, 1785 in Paris, France. Florestan I's father was Honore IV Grimaldi and his mother was Louise D' Aumont. His paternal grandparents were Honore III Grimaldi and Maria Caterina Brignole; his maternal grandparents were Louis Marie D' Aumont and Louise Jeanne De Durfort. He was an only child.
