Augusta Sophie was born about 1792. Augusta Sophie's father was George Greville and her mother was Henrietta Vernon. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Greville and Elizabeth Hamilton; her maternal grandfather is Richard Vernon and her maternal grandmother was Evelyn Leveson-Gower. She was an only child.
