Hiram Ulysses Simpson Grant 
Hiram Ulysses Simpson was born on April 27th, 1822 in Point Pleasant, Clermont Co., OH. Hiram Ulysses Simpson's father was Jesse Root Grant and his mother was Hannah Simpson. His paternal grandparents were Noah III Grant and Rachel Kelly. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Simpson, Orville Lynch, Clara Rachel, Virginia Payne and Mary Frances. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 63 on July 23rd, 1885 in Mount Mcgregor, New York. He was buried on August 8th, 1885 in Grant's Tomb, New York City, NY.General Notes
