John Allen Gifford 
John Allen was born in 1802. John Allen's father was Abner Gifford and his mother was Thankful Dunham. His paternal grandparents were Christopher III GIfford and Deborah Howland. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 in 1872.General Notes
