John Forbes 
John was born in 1608 in Leydon, Holland. John's father was John Forbes and his mother is Christian Barclay. His paternal grandparents were William Forbes and Elizabeth Strachan; his maternal grandfather was George Barclay and his maternal grandmother is Mary Erskine. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 in 1661 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA.General Notes
