Edward was born about 1526. Edward's father was Garret Fitzgerald and his mother is Elizabeth Grey. His paternal grandparents were Gerald Fitzgerald and Alison Fitzeustace; his maternal grandparents were Thomas+ Grey and Cicely+ Bonville. He had a brother and a sister, named Gerald and Elizabeth. He is the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Silken Thomas, Mary and Catherine.General Notes
