Margareta Von was born on October 14th, 1544. Margareta Von's father was Philipp I Von Hessen and her mother was Margareta Von Saale. Her paternal grandparents were Wilhelm II Von Hessen and Anna Von Mecklenburg-Schwerin. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Wilhelm IV Von, Georg I Von, Anna Von, Barbara Von, Elizabeth Von and Christine Von. She died at the age of 64 in 1608.General Notes
