Charles Robert was born on February 12th, 1809 in The Mount, Shrewsbury, England. Charles Robert's father was Robert Waring Darwin and his mother was Susannah Sukey Wedgwood. His paternal grandparents were Erasmus Darwin and Mary Howard; his maternal grandparents were Josiah I Wedgwood and Sarah Wedgwood. He had a sister named Caroline Sarah. He died at the age of 73 on April 19th, 1882 in Downe.General Notes
