Richard was born in 1451 in Moreton Corbet, Shropshire, England. Richard's father was Roger+ Corbet and his mother was Elizabeth Weever+ Hopton. His paternal grandparents were Robert+ Corbet and Margaret+ Mallory; his maternal grandfather is Thomas+ Hopton and his maternal grandmother was Eleanor+ Lacy. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Roger, Elizabeth and Anne+. He was the oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edward, Thomas, William and Jane+. He died at the age of 42 on December 6th, 1493.General Notes
