William Cocks 
William was born about 1643 in Henrico Co, VA. William's father was Richard+ Cocks and his mother was Mary Elizabeth+ Aston. His maternal grandparents were Walter III Aston and Hannah Jordan. He had four brothers and a sister, named John+, Richard, James, Edward and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers named Maurice, Thomas and Richard.
