Charles De was born in 1491. Charles De's father was Engilbert De Cleves and his mother was Charlotte De Bourbon. His paternal grandparents were Johann I Von Kleve and Elizabeth De Bourgogne; his maternal grandparents were Jean II De Bourbon and Isabelle De Beauvau. He was an only child. He died at the age of 30 on August 17th, 1521.General Notes
