Robert De was born about 1370. Robert De's father was Jean I De Bethune and his mother is Jeanne De Courcy. His paternal grandfather was Guillaume IV De Bethune and his paternal grandmother is Marie De Roye; his maternal grandfather was Enguerrand De Courcy and his maternal grandmother is Maria Von Vianden. He had a brother and a sister, named Jean II De and Jeanne De. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in 1408.General Notes
