Jean III De was born about 1315. Jean III De's father was Jean II De Chalons and his mother was Alix De Bourgogne. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume De Chalons and Eleonore De Savoie; his maternal grandfather is Renaud De Bourgogne and his maternal grandmother was Guillemette De Neufchatel. He had two sisters named Jeanne De and Beatrix De. He was the oldest of the three children. He died before 1361.General Notes
