William Cavendish 
William was born on October 29th, 1815. William's father was Charles Cavendish and his mother was Catherine Gordon. His paternal grandfather was George Cavendish and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Compton; his maternal grandparents were George Gordon and Catherine Anne Cope. He was an only child. He died at the age of 66 on June 26th, 1882.General Notes
