Jane was born about 1612. Jane's father was Thomas Burnett and her mother is Margaret Douglas. Her paternal grandfather was Alexander Burnett and her paternal grandmother is Katherine Gordon; her maternal grandfather was Robert Douglas and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Auchinleck.
