Her paternal grandfather was Thomas+ Brown and her paternal grandmother is Eleanor+ Fitzalan; her maternal grandparents were John+ Neville and Isabelle+ Ingoldesthorpe. She had a brother and a sister, named Anthony+ and Elizabeth+. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Margaret.
