John Moseby Binford 
John Moseby was born in 1746. John Moseby's father is James Binford and his mother is Margaret Mosby. His paternal grandparents are Thomas Binford and Elizabeth X. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, James, Samuel, Thomas, Martha, Nancy and Sarah Moseby. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died in Athens, AL.General Notes
John Mosby Binford was a member of the State Legislature 1788-1807 and later moved to Athens, Alabama where he raised a large family.
