Edmund+ was born about 1406 in Westminster, Middlesex, England. Edmund+'s father was John De+ Beaufort and his mother was Margaret De+ Holland. His paternal grandparents were John Of Gaunt+ Plantagenet and Catherine De+ Roet; his maternal grandparents were Thomas De+ Holland and Alice+ Fitzalan. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Joan De+ and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died on May 22nd, 1455 in Killed in the battle of St. Albans.
