Johann II Von was born in 1504. Johann II Von's father was Ernst Von Anhalt-Dessau and his mother was Margareta De Podiebrad. His paternal grandparents were Georg I Von Anhalt-Dessau and Anne Von Lindow-Ruppin; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich I De Podiebrad and Ursula Von Hohenzollern. He was an only child.
