Gundoald was born in 0570. Gundoald's father was King Garibaldi Agilulfus von Bavaria I of the Bavarians and his mother is Theudelinde d'Austrasie. His paternal grandfather was Duke Theodebert of Lower Bavaria and his paternal grandmother is Wisigarde de Lombardie; his maternal grandfather was King Theudebert I of Austrasia and his maternal grandmother is Wisigarde de Lombardie. He had a sister named Théudelinde. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Gundwald, Theudelinde, Romilde and Gertrude. He died at the age of 45 in 0615.-
