Lucy was born in Mercia, England.  Lucy's father was King Aelfgar of the East Saxons and her mother is Alversa Malet.  Her paternal grandparents were Earl Leofric III of Mercia and Godgifu of Mercia; her maternal grandparents were Sire William Malet I of Granville and Hesila Crispin. She had two half-sisters named Eadgyth and Ealdgyth.  She died in 1136.


Lucy's first family with Seigneur Roger fitzGerold de Romara

‌Lucy and Roger fitzGerold were married in a religious ceremony in 1089 in Mercia, England.  They had a son named William.


Lucy's second family with Earl Ives Taillebois of Anjou

They had a daughter named Beatrice.
