Her paternal grandparents were Duke Pepin d'Heristal II of Austrasia and Elphide de Saxonie; her maternal grandfather is Grimaldo II of Bavaria. She has a brother and a sister, named Bernard and daughter. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Carloman, "the Short", Bernard, Hieronmus, Bernard, Aude, Auda, Landrade and Olba.-
