Bishop Gerold II of Mayence 
Gerold was born in 0710. Gerold's father was Duke Gerold I of Swabia and his mother was Duchess Emma von Swabia of Vinzgau. His paternal grandfather is Bishop Gerold Erlaflaed I of Mayence; his maternal grandparents are Count Hnaba Nebi Allemania in the Linzgau and Hersuinde von Saxony. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hadrian, Ulrich, Irmentrudis and Hildegarde. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 34 in 0744.General Notes
