Geoffrey was born about 1069 in Warter, Holderness, Yorkshire, England. Geoffrey's father is Payne Troussebot. He was an only child. He died in Wartre, Holderness, England.General Notes
Held estates in Yorkshire before the reign of Henry I, where he was seated at
Wartre in Holderness. He founded a priory there and the family was afterwards
known as Trusbutt of Wartre. Father of William, surnamed Troussebot; son of
Pagan Troussebot. [Falaise Roll, p. 110]
He had a biological son named William.
