John Reed 
John was born on September 23rd, 1646 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts, USA and his baptism took place there on September 27th, 1646. John's father was William (Jr.) Read (Reed) and his mother was Iris (Avis) Deacon. His paternal grandparents are William Read and Lucy Heneage OR Heanage. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Thomas, James, Margaret, Hannah, Mary, Esther, Ruth and Mary. He was the third youngest of the ten children.
