Thomas was born in 1645 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Mass and his baptism took place in 1645 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Ma..  Thomas' father was William (Jr.) Read (Reed) and his mother was Iris (Avis) Deacon.  His paternal grandparents are William Read and Lucy Heneage OR Heanage. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William, John, James, Margaret, Hannah, Mary, Esther, Ruth and Mary.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 74 on November 14th, 1719 in Weymouth, Norf., Massachusetts, USA.
