Reginald was born in 1097 in Hunstanton, Norfolk, England.1   Reginald's father was Ralph Fitzherlewin Hunstanton and his mother was Helewisa De Plaiz.  His paternal grandparents were Herlewin De Hunstanton and Helewisa De Plaiz; his maternal grandfather was Hugh De Plais and his maternal grandmother is Hugh De Plaiz. He had a brother and four sisters, named Simon, Mabel, Matilda, Matilda Of and Maud.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Ralph Fitzherlewin and Matlda.  He died at the age of 77 in 1174 in Obsp.1
