King of Thuringia was born about 0360 in Thuringia, Germany.1 King of Thuringia's father was King of Westphalia Pharamond and his mother was of the Salic Franks Queen of Franks Argotta. His paternal grandfather was Duke of the East Franks Marcomir; his maternal grandfather was King of the Salic Franks Genebald and his maternal grandmother is unknown wife of Genebald. He had four brothers named Fredemundus, King of West Franks, Alberto and Frotmund. He had three half-brothers named "Long-Hair" King of Westphalia, Adalbertus and of the Salic Franks.General Notes
