John Vestal 
John was born on June 25th, 1718 in ,Chester,Pa. John's father was William Vestal and his mother was Elizabeth Mercer. His paternal grandparents were William Vestal and Alice Brunsden Glover; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Mercer and Mary Greenway Immigrant. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, James, David, Mary and Jemima. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died about 1776.-
