James Vestal 
James was born in 1730 in ,Chester,Pa. James' father was William Vestal and his mother was Elizabeth Mercer. His paternal grandparents were William Vestal and Alice Brunsden Glover; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Mercer and Mary Greenway Immigrant. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Thomas, David, Mary and Jemima. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on June 17th, 1793 in ,Surry,Nc.-
