Haman was born about 1342 in , Wixoe, Suffolk, England.1 Haman's father was John I de Sutton and his mother was Isabella de Cherlton. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Sutton and Isabella Patrick; his maternal grandparents were John de Cherlton and Hawis "the Hardy" De La Pole. He had three brothers named Thomas de, John II de and Robert de. He is the youngest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Richard le Fisher de, Thomas, John, Richard, Margaret de, Katherine and Matildis.General Notes
