Hugh Scrope

Hugh was born about 1058 in Richards Castle, Shropshire, England. Hugh's father was Osborne (Fitzrichard) Scrope and his mother is Nest verch Gruffydd. His maternal grandparents were Gruffydd ap Llewelyn Prince of Deheubarth and Ealdgyth 'Swan-neck' Of England. He had two brothers and a sister, named Simon, Hugh Of Richard's Castle and Nesta Verch.
