John Rector or Richter 
John was born on December 1st, 1711 in Truppach, Deu. John's father was Hans Jacob Richter and his mother was Elsbeth Fishbach. His maternal grandfather was Philip Fishbach and his maternal grandmother is Elsbeth Heimbach. He had three brothers named Jacob, Harmon and Henry. He died at the age of 61 on March 11th, 1773 in Rectortown,Fauquier Co.,Va.General Notes
Fauquier County records show that John Recotr was active in acquiring large tracts of land, settling them in communities and then selling them to others. He sold his old land near Germantown before moving to the Northern part of the County. He would be the founder of Rectortown, VA. Immigarated to VA in 1714. His brother Harmon was mentioned in his will.
