Ivar Ragnvaldsson

Ivar was born in 0868 in of Maer, Nord-Trondelag, Norway.  Ivar's father was Ragnvald I Eysteinssøn "the Wise" Jarl of Maer and his mother was Ragnhild (Hildr) Hrolfsdottir. He had three brothers named Hrollager (Hrollaug), Thori Ragnvaldsson the Silent and Rolf (Rollo) "Wend-a-Foot".  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named Hallad Ragnvaldssøn, Turf-Einar Ragnvaldssøn and Hrollaug.  He died about 0972.
