Ruth Newlin 
Ruth was born on July 2nd, 1774.1 Ruth's father was James Newlin and her mother was Deborah Lindley. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Jonathan, Thomas, Nathaniel, Mary, Sarah, Katherine, Eleanor, Hannah and Deborah. She was the second oldest of the twelve children.2 -
