Permelia Moseley 
Permelia was born in November 1803 in Powhatan, Virginia. Permelia's father was Spotsford Lewis Moseley and her mother was Mary Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were William Moseley and Ann Lewis. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, William Marshall, Alexander Marshall, James Marshall, Ann Lewis, Mary Marshall, Frances Marshall, Emeline and Fannie. She died at the age of 81 in 1884 in Buckingham County, Virginia.-
