Isabel was born about 1206 in Pembrokeshire, Wales.1   Isabel's father was William Marshal , Sir, Earl of Pembroke 4th and her mother was Isabel FitzGilbert de Clare , Countess Strigoil.  Her paternal grandparents were John  (1St Baron) Marshall and Sibyl Devereux; her maternal grandparents were Richard  "Strongbow" 4th Earl De Clare and Aoife Macmurough Of Leinster , Countess Of Ire.. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Gilbert, Richard, Anselm, Margaret, Maude, Joan, Eve, Lady [Sister of Surety], Sibyl and Isabella.  She died in Berhamstead, Hertfordshire, England.  She was buried in Beaulieu,Southampton,England.1

‌Isabel and Gilbert were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1217 in ,England.1   They had three sons and two daughters, named Richard De, Gilbert De, William, Isabel De and Isabel.


Isabel's second family with Prince Richard of England -Earl of Cornwall

‌Isabel and Prince were married in a religious ceremony on March 30th, 1231 in Tawley, Buckinghamshire, England.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Richard and Joan.
